Services We Offer
Breast screenings are preventative, diagnostic procedures to check the breasts for cancer before symptoms become present. Mammograms, breast MRIs, and clinical breast exams are primary methods of breast cancer screening, and are performed regularly and in accordance with personal/family medical history.
Chemotherapy drugs are used to treat cancer. There are a variety of types of chemotherapy drugs, but they all work by targeting a specific aspect of the cell cycle, i.e., the formation of new cells. They carry side effects because they cannot distinguish between cancer and non-cancer cells, and are often used in combination with other treatments.

Lung screenings are an early-detection tool for lung cancer. They’re recommended for people at a high risk for lung cancer, especially those with a history of smoking, as early treatment significantly improves outcomes. Lung screenings use low-dose computerized tomography (LDCT) to identify early cancer.
Lymphedema therapy offers nonsurgical interventions for early-stage lymphedema. In addition to dietary changes and medications, lymphedema therapy includes: specific exercises; compression devices, garments, and bandages; manual lymph drainage massage; and complete decongestive therapy. Advanced-stage lymphedema may require surgery.
Mental Health Therapy
Mental health therapy is a field of treatment for psychological disorders, and generally includes a mix of psychiatric and behavioral or psychotherapy (talk therapy) interventions. There are several leading psychotherapy approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, and art or music therapy.
Other Types of Anti-Cancer Drugs
In addition to chemotherapy drugs, other types of anti-cancer drugs include hormone therapy and immunotherapy. Hormone therapy drugs may be administered as oral or injectable, and work by altering or blocking hormones that some cancer cells need to grow. Immunotherapy uses drugs to boost or mimic the patient’s immune system to fight cancer (e.g., monoclonal antibodies and checkpoint inhibitors).
Palliative Medicine for Cancer Pain
Palliative medicine for cancer pain aims to improve the patient’s quality of life by managing the symptoms and side effects caused by the cancer and curative treatments. It looks holistically at the person and addresses their emotional and social needs and overall well-being. Palliative medicine is for patients in all stages of care, and is not the same as hospice or end-of-life care.
Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized physical therapy for pelvic pain and dysfunction. In both men and women, dysfunction in the pelvic floor (the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves at the base of the hip crests) can cause pain and other problems with urination, sex, and the hips/SI joints/tailbone. Pelvic floor therapy aligns, strengthens, and/or relaxes the area to correct the issue.
Prostate screenings are used to check for early signs of prostate cancer, and are generally recommended for men beginning at age 50, earlier for those at high risk. Prostrate screenings include digital rectal exams, where a doctor feels for any abnormality, and PSA tests, which measure how much prostate-specific antigen (PSA) protein is in the blood.
